Who We Are

The Friends of the Snohomish Library support the Snohomish Library in its activities and programs. We raise funds to support the needs of the library. We promote the love of reading and learning. We promote the Library as an essential center of the community. We can be contacted at snofosl@hotmail.com

What We Do

The Friends of the Snohomish Library:

• Sponsor programs
• Provide support for Library programs and activities
• Help support the Summer Reading Program for all ages
• Provide a scholarship for a local student
• Promote and sponsor art in the library
• Participate in local events where we promote the library
• Provide a fee-based copier in the library for the public
• Donate furnishings and other items as needed by the library
• Provide an ongoing used booksale
• Provide docent support for the library

When We Meet

The Friends of the Snohomish Library meet for quarterly meetings on the fourth Tuesday at 6 pm in the Snohomish Library.

How to Join

Complete a membership form, available at the Snohomish Library. Annual dues are:

• Student/Senior--$5.00
• Individual--$10.00
• Family--$15.00

Information on Donating

The Friends of the Snohomish Library gladly accept monetary donations. Memorials are encouraged. They may be sent to the Snohomish Library, 311 Maple, Snohomish, WA 98290

Books may be donated to be sold in our ongoing booksale. Please no encyclopedias, Reader's Digest condensed books or computer books. We accept magazines 2 years old and newer.

The Friends of the Snohomish Library is a non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible for their fair market value.
