Computer Services

Computers
Seven public reservable Internet capable PC's with shared printers and one non-reservable catalog only PC. All PC's can access the catalog for research and to place holds on Sno-Isle collections. Internet PC's may be reserved online or in the library. Customers can now also make a reservation over the phone using the new automated reservation system.

Software
All reservable PC's are Internet capable and have Google Earth, Windows Media Player, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Picture Manager software installed.

Color Printers
Color printers are available at the Coupeville, Freeland, Lynnwood, Marysville, Monroe, Oak Harbor and Snohomish Libraries. Customers have the option of printing in color, at a cost of 50¢ per page. Color prints are not included in the 70 free prints permitted to each registered card holder per week. However, all prints from Sno-Isle Libraries catalog and databases, including those done in color, are free. For more information see the FAQ.

Building

Display / Bulletin Board Policies: There is a small bulletin board near the door for community information. Notices of general community interest may be posted on the bulletin board after approval by the librarian. All posted notices become the property of the library and will be removed as needed to accommodate newer items. Notices concerning the library, the community, of education interest or from non-profit organizations are encouraged. Notices of a commercial, religious or partisan political nature will not be accepted. Decisions by the librarian may be appealed to the Lake Stevens Library Board.

Parking: There is a parking lot with 21 spaces plus one ADA space. In addition, there are 11 spaces in a parking lot behind the library.
