Books for Babies

Books for Babies is a community partnership between Boeing Employees Credit Union, Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation and local hospitals and birthing centers. The program provides newborns in Snohomish and Island Counties with their first book, and a library card, as well as parenting resources available in the community.

The Books for Babies partnership is designed to encourage parents to read to infants, promoting the development of basic skills needed for future literacy.

Since its inception, more than 20,000 bags have been assembled by volunteers and distributed by local hospitals and birthing centers.
