Issues That Matter - Foundation
Sno-Isle Libraries' Issues That Matter series of programs began in the fall of 2010 in an effort to encourage important community conversations on high-profile, current event topics. These events are free and open to the public. Funding is provided by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, which joins Sno-Isle Libraries in remaining neutral on topics covered by Issues that Matter programs.
The September series of forums will address the effects of bullying on the lives of so many. Students, families, educators, employers and anyone interested in this topic are invited to come and hear local law enforcement, education professionals, mental health specialists, and other experts examine and discuss ways to address this damaging issue. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions at these three discussion forums.
