Microsoft IT Academy

Microsoft IT Academy's goal is to help people attain industry-recognized Microsoft skills and certifications to enable them to be competitive in the rapidly evolving 21st century workplace.

The Washington State Library Microsoft IT Academy provides free access to over 400 English-language online courses and learning resources through public, community college, or tribal libraries; thousands more courses are available in 20 languages. The Washington Legislature has funded the program through June 2015.

A free Microsoft Account is required to use the Microsoft IT Academy website. If you don't already have one, create a Microsoft Account before proceeding.

Next, sign into your library account to start a one-time registration at the Microsoft IT Academy. After you register you can use the returning user link above to access the IT Academy.

Windows XP, or Windows 7 or higher
Minumum Browser: Internet Explorer 8 or newer, Chrome 25.0.1364.172 or higher, Firefox 19.0.1 or higher
