Foundation Reaches Out to High-Risk Families
One of the newest Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation- funded programs is our Prime Time Family Reading project. Through a partnership with Humanities Washington, we reach out to high-risk families who do not have exposure to the library.

Transportation and dinner is provided during six sessions where a storyteller shares stories and a scholar leads family discussions on themes such a fairness and empathy. The majority of the families who participated became library cardholders for the first time after attending the very first session! And, every family goes home with their own book bag that emphasizes the joy of reading.

Foundation-funded programs such as this one build a legacy that enriches literacy, exploration and knowledge. A donation to Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation today can make our libraries exciting, vibrant and important. Use our online, secure giving form to make a tax deductible gift today.
