FLANNEL BOARD WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS
Learn how flannel boards can be used to develop emergent reading in young children. Participants will make a portable flannel board and will have time to practice with it. Discover library resources to help continue to make flannel board stories.

STORYTIME: MAKE IT COUNT!
There is a natural correlation between math and science principles and Early Literacy Skills, which makes storytime a great time to teach both! This workshop is designed for early learning professionals who work with pre-schoolers and pre-kindergarteners. Participants will: identify ways to integrate math and science into storytime; discover ways to develop learning experiences that enhance a child's innate sense of wonder; and learn about storytime resources available from Sno-Isle Libraries.
