The Friends of the Snohomish Library support the Snohomish Library in its activities and programs. We raise funds to support the needs of the library. We promote the love of reading and learning. What We Do
The Friends of the Snohomish Library:
- Raise funds through an on-going Used Book Sale
- Sponsor programs
- Provide support for Library programs and activities
- Help support Explore Summer! reading programs for children and teens
- Provide scholarships for local students
- Promote and sponsor art in the library
- Participate in local events where we promote the library
When We Meet
The Friends of the Snohomish Library meet for quarterly meetings in January, April, July, and October on the fourth Tuesday at 6 pm in the Snohomish Library.
Information on Donating
Donations to the Friends of the Snohomish Library are used to enhance the Snohomish Library and its programs and services. You can make a donation, or if you prefer, a donation may be made in memory or in honor of a loved one(s). If you wish, we will acknowledge your thoughtfulness to those you choose.
Book donations for the Friends of the Snohomish Library Used Book Sale are gladly accepted during regular open hours. If you have a large donation of (4) or more boxes of books, please call the library to schedule your donation. Please no encyclopedias, Readers Digest Condensed Books, computer books, or magazines older than two years.
The Friends of the Snohomish Library is a non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
How to Join
Everyone is welcome to come to our meetings. if you wish support us please complete our membership form and mail or bring to the library.
Annual dues are:
- Student/Senior - $5.00
- Individual - $10.00
- Family - $15.00
