Sno-Isle Libraries welcomes volunteers of all ages and walks of life.
Our volunteers contribute their unique talents, skills and knowledge to enhance Sno-Isle Libraries' goal to be a community doorway to reading, resources and lifelong learning.
Whether it's a short-term project or a regularly scheduled task, volunteers work to enrich our community libraries programs and services throughout Snohomish and Island counties.
Note: Volunteers age 13 and under must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
Volunteering at the library offers enjoyable work as well as the satisfaction of knowing how much your efforts benefit your community. It requires a commitment of your time, usually on a regular schedule, plus participation in some basic orientation and training.
Please contact the volunteer coordinator at your library for a list of volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteer Opportunities Available at Service Center
Volunteer(s) needed to help sort books at our Marysville Service Center! Our branch libraries send tubs of books to the Service Center every day. These books are then sorted to go out the next morning to other branch libraries and into the hands of waiting library users. The selected volunteer(s) will receive training necessary to do this task.
Volunteers need to be able to lift 25 pounds, read, be reliable, and not mind working independently in a warehouse environment. Volunteer times are Monday or Tuesday, 3:00 – 4:30pm. We like volunteers to work a 1 ½ hour shift once a week or more.
If you love books, this is the job for you!
