Cultural & Literacy Programs
From puppets and sing-alongs to Shakespeare and author visits, children, teens, families and adults experience a variety of library programs funded by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation.
Working in partnership with the Friends of the Library groups, as well as local businesses and individuals, we provided more than 39 free programs in our libraries for children and adults last year. Programs offered at our libraries introduced fun, new activities from science to magic to music and arts. We have gone animation with teens and we have gone gross with science programs for school-age children!
In addition, the Foundation brought 22 early literacy programs to 1,749 families -- a 56% increase over the previous year.
