Librarians as Information Guides

Piloting Adults to Information and Services

Watch this video to learn about the Librarians as Information Guides project.

Did you know that your brain never stops growing?

It needs stimulation to stay healthy throughout your adult years. Because the learning process for adults is different than for children, Sno-Isle Libraries set out to design classes specifically for adults.

With grants from The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation and the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, the groundbreaking project Librarians as Information Guides: Piloting Adults to Information and Services was created. The classes in the Librarians as Information Guides series are two hours of in-depth learning, on topics that are popular among adults. These classes, as well as optional one-on-one follow-up coaching, are always free.

Our highly-skilled librarians guide and encourage adults to find the information they're looking for – and never stop learning.
