Who We Are
The Friends of the Brier Library is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization providing essential support to your local library.
What We Do
The Friends' financial support has provided the following at the Brier Library:
- Craft materials for weekly storytimes
- Fund classes, speakers, presenters, and musicians
- Programs for Children, Tweens, Teens, and Adults
- Explore Summer programs, including our kickoff and finale events
- Prizes for Explore Summer
- Toys, Puzzles, and Legos
- SeaScare float
- Refreshments at events
- New library furniture
- Library Furniture repair and replacement
When We Meet
Meetings are held: 7:00 p.m. on the 1st Tuesday of January, March, May, September, and November at the Library. There will be no meeting when this day conflicts with an observed holiday.
- On-going used book sale
- National Night Out
- Annual donations to Brier Elementary
- Fundraisers at Brier Pizza
How To Join
Memberships dues range from $5 - $100. For more details, please see our membership form. Complete and submit as directed on the form. Membership forms are also available at the Brier Library.
Information on Donating
The Friends of the Brier Library gladly accepts monetary donations. They may be dropped of at the Brier Library or mailed to:

Books may be donated to be used in our on-going book sale. Sorry, we do not accept encyclopedias or other multi-volume sets, textbooks, National Geographic magazines, or Readers Digest condensed books. The Brier Library has limited storage space, and there may be times when they are unable to accept donations. Please contact the library at 425-483-0888 if you have any questions.
