The Stanwood Friends of the Library are residents of Stanwood and the surrounding Snohomish County area, who are committed to the Friends Mission Statement:
"The purpose of the Stanwood Friends of the Library is to promote awareness and use of the Stanwood Community Library, to encourage and accept gifts and memorials to the Library, to encourage public support for the expansion of the Library facilities and programs, to provide for improvements to Library facilities, and to provide educational and cultural experiences for members and the public." When we meet
We meet every second Tuesday of the month except for July and August. The meetings are at 11 a.m. in the Stanwood Library meeting room. In December and June we celebrate with potlucks that begin at noon.
The Stanwood Friends is a 501c(3) organization. Donations may be made to a memorial fund, a capital fund for a designated program at the Stanwood Library by making your check out to the Stanwood Friends.
