Good grades are not the only thing that can secure you money for higher education. There are scholarships which reward achievement in sports, hobbies and other special interests, as well as to give a helping hand to veterans and other individuals from underrepresented groups.

Your Sno-Isle library card grants you free access to Peterson's Test and Career Prep, which includes a searchable database of scholarships and other awards.

The Gale eBooks Education Collection has digital books to find scholarships and financial aid, including the newest edition of Scholarships, Fellowships, and Loans: A Guide to Education-Related Financial Aid Programs for Students and Professionals.

The U.S. Department of Labor operates a free Scholarship Finder website listing more than 8,000 scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial aid award opportunities.

Research financial support from foundations using Foundation Directory, a database available for use at Marysville Library and Freeland Library.
