Sno-Isle Libraries offers an online catalog, making it easy for customers to find, reserve and receive library materials.
It is important that the online experience is as welcoming, professional and safe as it is at the physical community libraries.
Registration is a one-time process that allows you to create an easy-to-remember login name, or username, that you can use instead of your barcode to check your account. If you have a Google or Hotmail account, you already know about usernames. If not, think of a username as your library nickname. Need ideas? Use your initials and your street number (SDK203), your dog's name, or something about you that's short and easy for you to remember. Remember that if you post the public comments and lists, they will include your username. Registration is required to take advantage of all of the features of the site, including the ability to manage your renewals and holds, contribute ratings and reviews, and follow others to see what they're enjoying.
You may search the catalog without creating an account. You must create an account in order to request library materials, view your account and see what items you have checked out.
Your library borrowing activity – items you browse, check out, place on hold, return, etc. – is confidential in accordance with the Library's policy.
By default, this catalog is a sharing environment where others can see lists you create, reviews you write, and so on. For maximum privacy, once you create your account and log in, go to the "My Settings" option (click on your username in the upper right corner). Then under Privacy, in the left-hand column, click on "My Shelves" and click the three boxes. ALSO, go to "My Feeds" and click the box labeled "Mark your activity feed as private."

A shelf lets you keep track of items that you've borrowed or plan to borrow in the future.
Shelves don't have limits - you can put as many items on a shelf as you wish.
A list is a collection of titles related to a specific topic or idea of your choosing. You can share it with other library members or keep it private for your own use. Lists are limited to 100 items. If you have more than 100 items, you'll have to create another list. But you can have as many lists as you need.
