Classes for early childhood educators, parents and caregivers

Sno-Isle Libraries offers a series of STARS classes every fall, winter and spring. These classes are led by Sno-Isle Libraries staff who are state approved trainers and have an expertise in early literacy and early learning. All classes are offered in our community libraries (unless noted otherwise). Classes are always free. The classes meet the ongoing professional development requirements outlined by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families.

Washington state offers a wide variety of STARS classes, online and in-person. Locally, the Snohomish Health District offers free STARS classes. The state also provides reimbursement and additional support for early childhood educators.

Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend these classes as well.
