Baker & Taylor Book Clubs

Sno-Isle Libraries is thrilled to participate in Baker & Taylor’s Teen Virtual Book Club. Every month we have an exciting eBook that is perfect for reading and discussing with friends and in classrooms. The best part? We are offering immediately available eBook access - no waiting or holds queues!

Our April/May books are Five Total Strangers by Natalie D. Richards and The Obsession by Jesse Q. Sutanto. Register to meet the authors during a live virtual event on May 4 at 4 PM.

Upcoming Events

Open Book with Kazu Kibuishi - April 24 at 4 PM  

Author and illustrator of the bestselling series Amulet, Kazu Kibuishi has been creating graphic novels for nearly 20 years. At this Zoom event he will offer a peek into his studio and discuss his upcoming projects! Register soon to ensure you get the Zoom link. You will find most of Kibuishi‘s books in our library collection, both in print and eBook format through OverDrive.

Día Celebration with Tae Keller - April 30 at 10:30 AM

Winner of the 2021 Newbery Medal Award for her book, When You Trap A Tiger, Tae Keller will be in live conversation with us on April 30. Her book is noted for bringing Korean folklore to life. Register here to attend with your class.

Keller’s visit is in observance of Día de los Niños Día de los Libros/Children’s Day Book Day, a celebration of children, the love of reading, and families of all backgrounds that takes place annually on April 30th.

Express Collection offers teachers and students instant access for popular titles and award-winning nonfiction which could supplement your curriculum. Your students will also find popular YA series that have been adapted by streaming services and many more exciting titles.

Booklists for Spring

Spring is here and it’s the perfect time to explore outside. These books will inspire your students to go outside and appreciate the natural world around them.

For more outdoorsy fun, students can stop by their community library to pick up a Sno-Isle Spring Bingo Card!


Get A Library Card 

Educators in public and private schools, pre-schools, and daycare facilities are also eligible to sign up for a teacher card. This gives you access to physical items and all digital resources! Contact us, opens a new window for help with registering for a teacher card.
