Free activities from museums near you

Many of our local museums offer free activities to keep you busy and engaged. Learn something new at one of these fascinating places!

Seattle Art Museum has an extensive teen program with free admission days, classes, and free teen nights out. Follow SAM Teens on Instagram to keep up to date with all of their offerings.

The Pacific Science Center also offers free Teen Nights, a youth development program called Discovery Corps, and other volunteer or internship opportunities. You can sign up for teen program updates on their website.

At the Museum of Pop Culture, Youth Advisory Board (YAB) members directly influence teen programming, collaborating with local musicians, artists, and community groups and promoting teen programs such as Sound Off! MoPOP’s 21 and under battle of the bands. In addition, youth create original content for The Soundboard and YAB Instagram, online social networks devoted to the all-ages music scene and actively contribute to MoPOP events and exhibit openings. The Museum of History and Industry runs History At Home, a collection of resources you can access online. This includes MOHAI On Demand, exhibit flashbacks, and home school tours.
