“The library has always been my happy place!” — Dinnie B., Sno-Isle Libraries cardmember
There’s no other place like your local library. Libraries are a place where everyone—regardless of age, background, or circumstance—can find information, tools, and opportunities to learn and grow. National Library Week (April 23-29) is a time to celebrate our nation’s libraries and library workers.
For this year’s National Library Week, show your support for your local library by participating in one or more of the following days of celebration:
- Monday, April 24: Protect your freedom to read on Right to Read Day.
- Tuesday, April 25: Recognize the valuable contributions made by library staff, users, administrators and Friends groups on National Library Workers Day.
- Wednesday, April 26: Celebrate the Bookmobile and the dedicated staff of our Library on Wheels program on National Library Outreach Day (formerly National Bookmobile Day). Learn more about our outreach services.
- Thursday, April 27: Take Action for Libraries Day is a day to rally support for libraries. Get loud for libraries by supporting Sno-Isle Libraries as a volunteer, Friend of the Library, or by making a donation to the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation.
Libraries make our communities stronger. Show your support for your local library today! Visit us anytime, online or in-person, to access information, entertainment, tools, and activities.
