The school year is winding down and the countdown to summer is on!
This year, Summer Reading at Sno-Isle Libraries will start June 1. Our theme is All Together Now. All reading is encouraged – any book, any language, and any format! Kids and teens who read 10 hours will get a free book and a sticker. Sno-Isle Libraries will offer fun in-person and online events, community art activities inside the library, and reading suggestions for kids and teens.
To help spread the word to students and families, we’ve created a Summer Reading School Toolkit, including:
- A short PPT deck for Kids or Teens with all the basics.
- A digital bookmark to share via email or your website: English | Spanish
- Booklists to get your students started:
- You can also request a starter pack of bookmarks to have in the school library or office. If you would like to request digital or paper bookmarks with a specific school district disclaimer, contact your local library.
