Joyce Hagen is a long time resident of Mountlake Terrace and graduate of Burnley School of Art. She was a commercial artist, court room artist, and a member of the Mountlake Terrace Arts Commission serving as chair for several years. Joyce died on December 10, 2006.

Georgia Gerber has been sculpting and casting bronze for over 12 years. She lives on Whidbey Island and produces most of her sculptures herself. She primarily works with life size animal and human figures, often including architectural or abstract elements into the design. She has a number of works installed throughout the northwest and Alaska.
History / Background: | The approximate weight is 1200 pounds and took nine months to complete. This was the 6th acquisition for the City's 1% for Art Collection. |

Artist Elsie S. Cobb was a native of the Netherlands who came to the U.S. in 1958. She studied in Amsterdam and Cornish College in Seattle and has won many sculpture awards.
