Every month we select and deliver library materials and services to people who are homebound or simply not able to visit a library building because of age or long-term disability.

See how Library on Wheels transforms customers.

Service to individuals

To receive this service, you must have a long-term disability (at least 3 months) that prohibits you from visiting a library. To apply for this service, please call Library on Wheels at 360-651-7059 or toll-free at 1-877-766-4753.

Service to senior housing and care facilities

Facilities requesting Outreach services for their residents are served by either deposit or cart service.

Deposit service: A collection of library materials are exchanged monthly. The facility director signs an agreement of responsibility for lost or damaged materials. Residents can select materials during the month.

Cart service: For large facitilies with safe reserved parking that can accommodate a 25-foot vehicle and a community meeting space where residents can gather to check out library materials.

Perhaps no place in any community is so totally democratic as the town library.
The only entrance requirement is interest.
