Teen Volunteer Opportunities at Sno-Isle Libraries*

Looking for a great way to contribute to your community, share your skills and talents, impress colleges and future employers, and/or get service credit for graduation? Sno-Isle Libraries wants to help you help us! We are looking for teens* to help in a variety of ways.

• Teen Advisory Groups
  • Make your library YOUR library by telling us what you think.
  • Share your ideas for library programs, purchases and improvements.
  • Provide feedback on library issues related to teens.
  • Earn community service credit while having fun.

  Groups meet at least monthly at most libraries. Ask your local library's teen contact for more information!

• Community Service Volunteers
  • Monthly volunteer opportunity just for middle school teens.
    • During the school year at the Mukilteo Library. Contact Teen Librarian Kathleen for more information.
      

• Community Library Ongoing Volunteer Duties
  • Book search
  • Equipment cleaning
  • Periodical maintenance
  • Shelf reading
  • Assist with children's program setup, crafts, and more

How to Apply:
Obtain a Volunteer Application from your local library or by calling 360-651-7003. Fill out the application as completely as possible. A background check form must also be completed, which is available from your branch library. Return completed paperwork to your local community library or mail to:
