Mystery lovers propelled Louise Penny's latest installment of the Inspector Gamache series to the top of the mystery checkouts and perennial favorite Emily Henry dominated amongst our romance readers.

Mel Robbins' blockbuster self-help book was Sno-Isle Libraries' most checked out nonfiction title in both hardcover and ebook. Botanist Robin Wall Kimmerer's self-narrated audiobook about the knowledge we can gain from plants was the most checked out nonfiction audiobook of the year along while celebrity chef Ina Garten's highly anticipated memoir was at the top of biography-lovers' reading lists.

Series were at the top of the teen checkouts this year with not one, but two titles from Suzanne Collins' bestselling Hunger Games series being the most-read and listened to teen books of the year. The opener to Sarah J. Maas' now 10-year old fantasy series clocked in as the most read teen ebook of the year, while the cooking-focused fantasy from Ryoko Kui's manga series was the most-read graphic novel.

Marvel's sassy superhero cross-over and Disney's long-awaited sequel to the much beloved coming-of-age film Inside Out were the second and third-most checked out DVDs of the year.
