Growing Healthy Children STARS Trainings

Classes for early childhood educators, parents and caregivers

Sno-Isle Libraries offers a series of STARS classes every fall, winter, spring and summer. The library offers classes led by Sno-Isle Libraries staff who are state approved trainers and have an expertise in early literacy. We also work with partner organizations to offer STARS classes on a wide variety of early learning topics to meet the needs of early childhood educators.

Classes are always free. The classes meet the ongoing professional development requirements outlined by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families.

Washington state offers a wide variety of STARS classes. The state also provides reimbursement and additional support for early childhood educators.
