Snohomish & Island Counties
- 211: Those experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of homelessness may call 2-1-1 or text 211WAOD to be assessed for eligibility
- Coordinated Entry: A list of quick access points for referrals and housing placements
- Covenant Homeownership Program: Helping homebuyers who have family history in Washington prior to 1968 and meet other criteria related to historical housing discrimination. Includes down payment assistance. Homeownership Hotline: 1-877-894-4663
- Eviction Help: Free legal help for renters from the Northwest Justice Project
- Here to Home: Washington State Housing Finance Commission provides down payment and mortgage assistance, foreclosure help, counseling, loans and other programs.
- Landlord-Tenant Dispute Resolution Center: A Volunteers of America program that empowers people to shape their own solutions
- Rental Housing Association of Washington: Resources and information supporting stability for WA renters
- Washington Department of Revenue: Property tax exemption for seniors, people retired due to disability, and veterans with disabilities
- Washington Homeownership Resource Center: A nonprofit focused on connecting clients with homeownership education, assistance, and vetted support including financial and legal
- Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS): Programs and resources that help people prevent or end homelessness, locate affordable or specialized housing, and apply for Housing and Essential Needs support
Snohomish County
- Cocoon House: Serving youth up to 24 years old. You can also Text the word "safe" and your current location (address, city, state) to 4HELP (44357) to get the location of the closest Safe Place site. Reply with "2chat" to connect with a trained counselor
- Coordinated Entry: County-wide help to get assessed and connected with homelessness prevention, housing services, and resource navigation
- Emergency Cold Weather Shelters: Find overnight and day time warming centers
- Guide to Community Resources: Extensive list of services and assistance in English and Spanish from the Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO)
- Everett Housing Authority: Provides affordable housing for a variety of income levels and situations
- Housing Hope: Provides low-income housing (assigned through 211) for those experiencing homelessness, and income-restricted affordable housing via waitlists for those who cannot afford market rate rent
- Mercy Housing Northwest: A national nonprofit providing affordable housing
- Senior Housing Stability Program: Serving adults ages 60+ and providing navigation support services to prevent homelessness or remedy housing instability
