Watch as David B. Williams, opens a new window talks about his book Homewaters: A Human and Natural History of Puget Sound, which tells the long story of the Sound, tracing human and natural history from the earliest records more than 12,500 years ago to present.

David is an author, naturalist, tour guide, and Curatorial Associate at the Burke Museum. He is also the author of the award-winning book Too High and Too Steep: Reshaping Seattle’s Topography, opens a new window, as well as Seattle Walks: Discovering History and Nature in the City, opens a new window and Stories in Stone: Travels Through Urban Geology.
