Welcome to our new Langley Library manager: Kaley Costello

Sno-Isle Libraries is excited to announce Kaley Costello as our new Langley Library manager. Kaley is committed to building partnerships and serving our community.

Kaley brings years of experience, having previously managed the Clinton Library. She joined Sno-Isle Libraries in 2014 and says returning to Langley feels like “coming full circle as Vicky Welfare hired me in my first full-time position at Sno-Isle Libraries!”

When asked what she likes best about her job, Kaley says, “I serve as a convener for discussion and discovery. I like listening to people and meeting them where they are.” Kaley will continue engaging with our community as the Langley Library remodel moves forward.

Plans for the Langley Library remodel include expanding reading areas, a meeting room, and study areas, while honoring the heritage of the nearly century-old building. The conceptual design was a collaborative process and incorporated the voice of our community. Kaley is committed to preserving and strengthening the relationships between Sno-Isle Libraries and the Langley community. She says, “I am thrilled by the engagement our community has had throughout the remodel process, people love their library. As we saw with power outages, the Langley Library is an essential gathering space. I want to welcome you into the library, and I also am excited to join local community events to meet you.”
