Who We Are

The Friends of the Arlington Library is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization providing essential support to your local library.

What We Do

Funding by the Friends provides:

  • Copy machine and paper
  • Support for Arlington Library Book Discussion Group
  • Special programs for babies, children, teens, adults, and seniors
  • Books and toys for infants
  • Support for Books for Babies program
  • Posters and bookmarks
  • Russian and Spanish language books for school use
  • Dictionaries for third graders in Arlington, Darrington, and Lakewood
  • Multi-cultural holiday decorations
  • Digital camera
  • Scholarships through Dollars for Scholars
  • Plants for library
  • Enhancements for the children's area

When We Meet

The second Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. in the Arlington Library.

How To Join

Complete a membership form, available at Arlington Library. Membership dues are $10 per year.

Information on Donating

When you make a donation to the Friends of the Arlington Library, you are actually giving the gift of knowledge, education, and learning. All contributions made to the Friends are used to enhance the Arlington Library and its programs and services.

You can make a direct donation, or, if you prefer, a donation may be made in memory or in honor of a loved one(s). If you wish, we will happily acknowledge your thoughtfulness to those you choose. Donation envelopes are located at the library. Please consider giving a gift that continues to give: a gift to the Friends of the Arlington Library.
