Support Us

Sno-Isle Libraries offers many opportunities to support the library system.

Sno-Isle Foundation

A group of caring citizens founded the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation in 2000.

They knew what others across America know—that public libraries need private funding.

The Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation mobilizes people and resources to expand the reach of library services, promote civic engagement, and foster a lifetime of learning.

Donations allow Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation to provide seed money for innovative programs and services, leverage funds for original programs and provide services that enhance and increase the libraries outreach to the community.

Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library are non-profit volunteer organizations, bringing together involved, caring people who support and promote the services and programs of their community library.

Volunteering

Our volunteers contribute their unique talents, skills and knowledge to enhance Sno-Isle Libraries' goal to be a community doorway to reading, resources and lifelong learning.

Library Ambassadors

Library Ambassadors love libraries and want everyone to know it. Ambassadors build excitement and help to keep libraries "top of mind" in our communities. Library Ambassadors share their personal experiences as library customers and supporters in many different ways – person to person, on social media, in print, and at community events.

Partnering

We seek relationships with organizations that share common goals and demonstrate mutual commitment with a partnership.

A partnership with Sno-Isle Libraries will effectively leverage shared resources resulting in community collaborative impact.

Internships

Sno-Isle Libraries welcomes students pursuing a career in Library and Information Science. College internships are available to students, including Sno-Isle employees currently enrolled in a library school, wishing to gain valuable, real-world experience and course credit. It is our goal to provide a rich, structured field learning experience for students in a variety of professional settings.
