Thanksgiving films to gobble up

Thanksgiving might look a little different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate. Now is a great time to start new traditions, connect with friends and family all over the world, and focus on gratitude in the midst of a challenging year. If you are planning to stay home for the holiday this year, try celebrating with one of these great Thanksgiving films.

Holiday Engagement: When Hillary’s fiancé suddenly breaks up with her, she scrambles to find a fake fiancé to take to Thanksgiving at her parent’s house in this happy and light romance.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles: Steve Martin and John Candy star in this hilarious and heartfelt holiday classic in which two men must overcome the insanity of Thanksgiving holiday travel. Let’s all feel thankful we’re not dealing with holiday travel this year!

Hannah and Her Sisters: A smart, tender, and funny film that follows three successive family Thanksgiving dinners as three sisters experience heartache, betrayal, and joy.

Pumpkin Pie Wars: The children of two rival bakers fall in love while preparing to compete against each other in a pumpkin pie-baking contest in this super sweet Hallmark original.

Home for the Holidays: This spirited Thanksgiving dramedy follows a woman on a downward spiral as she travels home to spend Thanksgiving with her dysfunctional family. It’s not a holiday without a little family drama.
