Virtual Author Talk: Jasmine Warga

Sno-Isle Libraries was proud to host author Jasmine Warga this summer as part of the Reading Together program for student-age readers. Reading Together was a summer series of enriching resources and community connections centered around no-wait ebooks for kids and teens. Warga is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and now lives in the Chicago area. Other Words for Home has received the John Newbery Honor award, a Walter Honor, a Charlotte Huck Honor, and Lee Bennet Hopkins Poetry Prize Honor. Warga also wrote the young adult novels “My Heart and Other Black Holes” and “Here We Are Now.” Her books have been published in more than 25 countries and named to several state reading lists.
