Collaboration is at the Core of the Mariner Community Campus

Sno-Isle Libraries and Everett Housing Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to begin exploratory efforts on a joint development for the Mariner Community Campus (MCC) project. This collaboration will discover opportunities to bring together a public library and mixed income housing for a mixed-use property as the MCC comes to fruition.

The vision for the MCC started with State Senator Marko Liias to provide public services in this unique neighborhood of Snohomish County serving around 30,000 people. The MCC will be a central resource providing residents access to a mix of activities and resources focused on education, learning, and community connection.

On May 20, Mariner Library brought together over 100 community members and 20 partners for a Resource Fair. The Resource Fair embodies the MCC’s goal to provide community needs in one accessible location. This was the kick-off event for numerous Mariner Library events being held this summer.
