Teen Tech Month

March is Teen Tech Month at Sno-Isle Libraries!

March 2014 is Teen Tech Month at Sno-Isle Libraries. This year's theme is DIY @ Your Library, and we have tons of opportunities for you to Do-It-Yourself! Try tech crafts such as squishy circuits, LED Candles, e-textiles, LED Cuff Bracelets, or Brush Bots! Or create a video for our annual contest…this year we have a group category for you and your friends. There are all kinds of fun opportunities to explore!

All month long we'll have blog mini-contests and posts about free downloads and awesome tech sites to explore. Plus, we'll have lots of things going on in our libraries including Minecraft, Arduino classes, gaming tournaments, opportunities to volunteer, and workshops on how to get the skills you need to get jobs at local tech companies.

Be sure to check out our annual Teen Video Contest and watch previous winners to get inspiration.

Supported by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation.

It had been startling and disappointing to me to find out that story books had been written by people,
that books were not natural wonders, coming up of themselves like grass.
