One of the first and biggest steps to getting a college education is finding the college or university that is the best fit for you - academics, housing, campus life, location, cost, and extracurricular activities all need to be considered when figuring where to apply.

Sno-Isle Libraries subscribes to Gale Virtual Reference Library's Education Collection, a collection of digital books that can help you select a college and find scholarships and financial aid.

Included in our catalog are many titles that can assist you in making a decision about what schools to apply to. The Princeton Review updates several titles on a regular basis, such as The Best 386 Colleges 2021 and The Best Value Colleges. Fiske Guide to Colleges 2021 can also be helpful. 

The US Department of Education's College Scorecard is an online tool that shows statistics about US colleges and universities in several major categories including cost, attendance and graduation rates, fields of study, salary after graduation, and more. 

Washington State maintains a Community and Technical Colleges page where you can find an in-state school that meets your needs.
