Job Search Activities

Filing unemployment claims? Starting July 4, you will need to report three job search activities each week as part of your unemployment claim.

There are many activities you can report as part of your weekly claim. Applying for jobs is one of the most common. You can also attend a workshop at WorkSource, create an elevator speech, or set up a LinkedIn account. A complete list of job search activities and how you can document them is available here.

One virtual job search activity you can do today with a library card is watch a LinkedIn Learning certified course that results in a certificate of completion. LinkedIn Learning is free with a library card. Simply click this link to get started, or enter “snoislelibraries” as the Library ID in the mobile app.
