The school year is wrapping up and summer is coming fast!
Summer Reading at Sno-Isle Libraries starts June 1 and is all about discovering your story and world, with a fun nod to soccer and all types of movement! All reading counts, including listening to an audiobook, reading in any language, and more.
Kids and teens who read 10 hours will get a free book and a sticker. They can keep going by completing their choice of five activities to get a second sticker. Sno-Isle Libraries will offer fun in-person and online events and spontaneous, interactive activities to do when visiting the library.
We hope you will share this information with your students and their families. To help, we’ve created a Summer Reading School Toolkit, including:
- A short PPT deck with all the basics: Kids | Teens
- A digital bookmark that includes a mini-reading log: English | Spanish
- If you would like a bookmark with your specific school district disclaimer, or a printed version, reach out to your local library.
- And “lessons in a box” with suggested books and activities to get your students excited about the summer ahead.
