Construction as of July 19, 2023
- Glass storefront walls at the library entrance were installed.
- The folding glass wall providing an opening to the outdoor space was installed.
- Wood cabinetry is being installed, including in the enhanced children’s area.
- The exterior of the building was trimmed.
- Flooring will be installed next week.
Construction Highlights as of June 20, 2023
- Painted the outside of the library a deep green, Sherwin Williams' "Ripe Olive."
- Poured new asphalt for the parking lot.
- Poured new sidewalk and entryway concrete.
- Laid pavers in the new outdoor space and planted a kousa dogwood tree.
- Installed skylight above entry lobby to create a brighter space.
- Framing and drywall completed, and interior painting is started, including the new community study room.
