Do you ever wonder about the inspiration behind your favorite novel? Sno-Isle Libraries is excited to offer more Author Talks than ever before! Hear from a diverse lineup of bestselling fiction and nonfiction authors.

This series will enhance the exciting online programs hosted by Sno-Isle Libraries, including Summer Author Events currently underway for kids and teens. Customers will have access to additional Author Talks each month through a new partnership with the Library Speakers Consortium.

New talks kick off on July 7 with New York Times bestselling author Alka Joshi, talking about her books The Henna Artist and The Secret Keeper of Jaipur. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their questions before and during the program.

Who else is coming? July 14, sit down with New York Times bestselling author David Allen, one of the world’s most influential thinkers on personal productivity. Then on August 3, Dr. Marcia Chatelain discusses her Pulitzer prize-winning book, Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America a look at cooperation among fast-food companies, black capitalists, and civil rights leaders.
