Sno-Isle Libraries will add 100 open hours each week across its 23 library locations to provide more convenience for our customers. The new expanded hours will take effect on July 1, 2022. By increasing access to library facilities, customers will be able to utilize meeting rooms, study areas, internet, and staff expertise later into the day.

“As library service providers, we are always seeking new ways to provide equitable access. Expanding our hours will give customers more flexibility to use essential services and connect with their community library,” said Diane Lai, Sno-Isle Libraries community libraries director.

In 2021, library customers checked out 6.4 million items, remotely printed 800,336 pages, and accessed the library’s Wi-Fi 1.47 million times. Sno-Isle Libraries also worked to reduce accessibility barriers and improve convenience with Express Lockers at two locations. You can learn more in Sno-Isle Libraries’ 2021 Community Report.

Sno-Isle Libraries continues to embed equity, diversity, and inclusion into our organization. Sno-Isle Libraries invites you into your local library. Many libraries will open at 9:00 am and will remain open later into the evening, making it easier for you to visit. There is something for everyone at the library, the collections and programs are designed with you in mind.
