The library is where Edmonds reads, gathers, learns and plays. Design plans are ready for the Edmonds Library restoration and modernization project. With this project, we are reimagining how library visitors can enjoy more amazing features including:
- A new gathering and community meeting room.
- Study and Zoom room space.
- Enhanced and interactive children's area.
- Improved energy efficiency.
A project package has been submitted to the City of Edmonds to begin the permitting process. A request for bids has been issued for a general contractor for construction of this project.
We appreciate our partnership with the City of Edmonds and can't wait to welcome our community back into the library this summer to show off all the incredible changes.
