Marysville Library Endowments
The Marysville Library has two active endowments.
The Gellerson Memorial Programming Endowment
Established in 2009 with a portion of a bequest made to the Marysville Library by the estate of Harold and Julietta Gellerson, this fund supports vibrant library programming for all ages. This fund is overseen by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation. Contributions can be made to the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation and restricted to this endowment.
The Friends of the Marysville Library Endowment
Established in 2014 with a collection of unrestricted donations to the Friends, this endowment was created to assure a stable funding stream into the future. The fund allows anyone to participate in the endowment, regardless of gift amount, by pooling individual donations within one fund. As it grows, it will support annual operating, programming and service needs. Contributions can be made to the Friends of the Marysville Library and restricted to this endowment.
Both the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation and the Friends of the Marysville Library are public, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations registered with the United States Internal Revenue Service and the Washington State Secretary of State. All donations to these funds are fully tax-deductible.
All endowments are held and invested on behalf of the Marysville Library by the Greater Everett Community Foundation. Professional managers ensure careful oversight and administration.
