But did you know that clothing and textile waste is growing faster than any other material in the US waste stream and is a problem around the world? In this presentation, Dr. Patricia Townsend, former fashion designer and current associate professor and environment and community outreach specialist at Washington State University, provides tips on how to revamp your wardrobe on a budget and show how our shopping decisions can decrease our environmental footprint.
