Pride Month is observed in June in remembrance of the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York. It also marks the first Pride parade, which took place in June of 1970. Pride Month is a celebration of the history, struggles, accomplishments and contributions of individuals and communities identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and all marginalized orientation and gender identities (LGBTQIA+).
We invite you to explore events, resources, and materials that celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ people and communities.
