With a student account, you have access to the Sno-Isle Libraries collection, streaming content, homework help tools, and research databases. 

  • Library Collection: Check out up to 10 physical items at any library, download up to 30 digital items on OverDrive, and stream movies and shows.
  • Homework Help: Find the perfect resource to help with your next assignment. Get one-on-one online tutoring and writing help from Brainfuse HelpNow or use research databases for kids and teens
  • Remote Printing: Use remote printing and pick up prints at any library. Black and white and color printing is available. You get $7 of printing/copying credit each week.

What is a student account?
A student account is a special Sno-Isle Libraries account that lets students access public library resources using a school-provided number. There is no physical card provided with this account.

Who is eligible for a student account?
Students with a residential address in the Sno-Isle service area and enrolled in the school districts listed below are eligible for a student account. 

How do I log in to my student account?
Navigate to Log In / My Account. The Log In / My Account button is located at the top of every page on our site.

What is my student account number?

Edmonds School District:
ED + student I.D./school lunch number (Example: ED1234567)

Granite Falls School District:

Do student accounts have PINs?
Yes. Your PIN/Password is 1234. 

How much does a student account cost? Are there fines?
Student accounts are free. There are no overdue fines or lost fees.

How long will my student account be active? Does it expire?
Student accounts work until a student is no longer enrolled in the school district, such as graduating or moving. 

Will student accounts work in the summer when school is on break?
Yes. Student accounts can be used year-round.

What if a student already has a Sno-Isle Libraries card?
If a student already has a traditional Sno-Isle Libraries card, they can use it in addition to their student account. Students who do not yet have a traditional library card may get one after completing the registration process.

Can parents or guardians choose for their student to opt-out of this program?
Yes. Parents and guardians can opt-out of the student account program by completing an opt-out form provided by their school district. They may also request to delete student accounts at any time. Parents and guardians in the Edmonds School District need to complete an opt-in form for their student to have an account.

If a parent or guardian opted out of the program, but now wants to opt back in, can they?
Of course! Parent and guardians may contact their school district to do this.
