  • Community Library Ongoing Volunteer

Duties include: book search, equipment cleaning, periodical maintenance, shelf reading, assist with children's program, and more.

  • Teen Advisory Boards

TABS are a program we have for teens in grades 6 through 12 where youth meet monthly to talk about books and issues that are important to them, plan library events and programs, and find ways to help others. Currently we have active TABS at several of libraries including Granite Falls, Marysville, Mill Creek, and Mukilteo. Each TAB has a the same mission: meet new people, discuss teen concerns help develop library programs and talk about books — all while earning volunteer credits and having fun! And the good news is, they are all looking for new members! While the mission of the TABS are the same, each one offers something unique. Fill out an application and get involved with a TAB! Find a meeting here.

  • Community Service Volunteers

Monthly volunteer opportunity just for middle school teens during the school year at the Mukilteo Library. Contact their teen librarian for more information.

Ask your local library's teen contact for more information, or fill out our online volunteer application today!

*If you are 13 or younger, and not volunteering at a TAB meeting or library event, you will have to be supervised by your parent or guardian at all times while volunteering at Sno-Isle libraries.

It had been startling and disappointing to me to find out that story books had been written by people,
that books were not natural wonders, coming up of themselves like grass.
